Italian architecture is the main focus of Sinjins work, and is characterised by magnificent
examples of Romanesque buildings originating from the early medieval period. Sinjin especially enjoys
the range and numerous styles employed in ecclesiastical construction, typically exemplified by the
late gothic Milan cathedral, the renaissance period Florence Cathedral and Brunelleschi' dome, the
gothic church of San Fermo, Verona, the Basilica of San Antonio, Padova, the cathedral of Verona,
and of course the beautiful Patriarchal Basilica of Saint Mark, Venice.
In fact, many typical churches and cathedrals in Italy demonstrate renovations and additions to
the original structure through the centuries, as a consequence of natural disasters and age.
Nonetheless, the diversity of the structures, materials and styles accentuate their charm and
dominance of the sky-line, whether captured by the eye or the lens.
